Are there any really good ones suitable for long hair? I applied some henna to my hair and just rinsed it out with water and then followed with Johnson’s baby conditioner and my hair has not been this non-frizzy in ages! All I did after washing and towel drying was apply some ASIAM leave in conditioning cream. I’ve heard of cowashes but no idea which brands are good. Thanks.

I use a cheapy ginger one from poundland/B&M - you don't need a specific cleansing one

Gatekeeper I didn’t know that; I thought it would be good to have something that at least cleans the scalp/washes the dirt out of the hair. If that’s the case could I stick to the baby conditioner to clean?

if it works for you then yes. I was really dubious about doing it but having read loads about it on curly gal forums I gave it a go. I put a dollop on and really go at my scalp . I leave it for a minute whilst I have a scrub in shower , then stick my head under shower head for a brief min just to get some more water on and then 'wash' the rest of my hair as it seems to spread more easily

Works great and my hair and scalp feels clean- dries shiny and not frizzy

AsIAm Coconut Co-wash is the best one I've ever used.
