Rate my new outfits?

Hi,

I have had some online shopping delivered today, was wondering if anyone would help me and let me know what you think?

Everything has cost me £100 so was really cheap in the sales (a couple of the tops I have paired with are old)

I like the two red dresses, assuming they suit your colouring. I really do not like the peach pleated dress, it looks cheap and nasty. The green dress is doing nothing for your figure. And I really don’t like the yellow top/skirt, for reasons same as pp above.

Man much better than husbands for this sort of thing!

One, two and 6 look great on you, also the trousers. Not too keen on the rest.

The first dress looks great , as does the last dress. I also like the wide leg trousers.

The other outfits don't suit you as well , there's something not quite right about the fit.

The green smock dress doesn’t do anything for you, sorry. Neither does the neon dress or yellow top and skirt. All the others you look lovely in!

The 2 red dresses are lovely and the snake print skirt is ok. The denim scallop edge skirt and yellow top are both awful. If that top is one of your existing ones, get rid. Orange pleated outfit is just ok. I wouldn’t keep anything else

3,4 and 5 do not do you justice at all very shapeless and unflattering.

The trousers are great and 1,2 and 6 are okay too.

They're all gorgeous and you look amazing in the yellow top and jean skirt,not many people can carry that colour of so your very lucky.

You've picked clothes that really compliment your curves and I'm amazed that only cost you £100.

All look amazing apart from the orange pleated dress and the green one next to it as I think they don't flatter you as much as the others. The red dresses are beautiful

They're all nice (apart from the yellow top and horrible scalloped skirt, sorry!) but the last red floral dress is so incredible on you that I'd be tempted to send everything else back and keep looking for more things that are as good as that!

Agree with most my absolute favourite is the red floral dress it’s lovely on you . I really like the black top in the photo ( with the snake skirt ) I think that with the printed trousers would be lovely . I’d send everything else back if it were me .

You have too nice a figure to hide it behind the green sack style dress and the orange pleated one.

Agree with the others. The red dresses are lovely but not keen on the orange pleats.

I like the last red dress and the tropical trousers. The rest aren’t particularly flattering, although I do prefer clothes that accentuate figures

The red floral dress is really lovely on you, I like the dark red one too. I don't like the printed trousers, the green dress or the snakeskin skirt outfit.
The yellow top and denim skirt both suit your figure, but for some reason I don't like them together, no idea why. I think they'd both look great with something different.

I like the green dress (although I agree with others that it's not especially flattering for your shape).

Orange dress is the best fit on you. Not sure about the colour. Trousers are good. Dark red dress looks ok.
If you’re asking a load of strangers what we think send the rest back. If you wouldn’t want to wear a item right now - weather excepted - then you don’t love it enough to keep it. Don’t just buy because it’s cheap right now.

The red dress with the little print is the most flattering thing, it looks lovely on you.
I agree with pps that the yellow top isn’t great with the denim mini, but it might look good with white wide leg trousers, if you have any.

@ohtheholidays @yellowbluebell @Immigrantsong and others thank you all so much for your lovely comments. Made me smile. I recently had a baby and my body has changed so much! That along with maternity leave and lockdown I am well aware I need to lose about a stone (or two) but I really didn't think I'd get such nice comments. Glad I posted!

Love some honest opinions and I agree with the comments. As soon as a saw the pleated pink thing I was like OMG what is that?! But thought I'd try it, and the green floral one just doesn't really sit right over my boobs. As a pp said the hem I guess should sit under my boobs but doesn't it kinda sits ON my boobs then goes straight down! So I think I'll be returning those ones.

I am not sure that the peach pleated dress, or the green empire line dress, work with your shape. The waisted fit of the orangey red print dress is much more flattering as you are busty.

No to the peach dress and green dress and denim skirt outfit. Yes to the others.

Where is the red / coral midi shirt dress from? I think this is the most flattering .
