Sukin Foaming Face Cleanser ?
My DD uses this , she has quite sensitive skin but suffers the odd stress/hormone/teenage flare up

It's in Stock in Boots at the moment (usually £8 but £5.30 on offer )

I use Avene Cleanance Gel which is soap-free and very gentle.

Bagelsandbrie · 25/05/2020 09:21

I’ve tried loads from very expensive to cheap and the best one I think is the Nivea blue gel one, it’s about £3-4 from Tesco or Boots etc. I am nearly 40 so have lines and spots at the same time and I find that one really good, it has witch hazel in it which seems to help with the breakouts.

Superdrug’s tea tree face wash is good too- the pink grapefruit one is my second fave to the Nivea.

I use a lovely one from Caudalie.

It’s very gentle and a bottle lasts ages.

The link I sent is 2 for £22 so £11 each.

Aldi Blush

I really like The Body Shop Drops of Light face wash.

Cetaphil gentle face cleanser

The best mild foaming facial cleanser is the lidl one. Annoyingly it was one of those pop up items.

DubiousGoals · 25/05/2020 20:12

Cerave smoothing one, I've got combination skin prone to outbreaks and it makes my face feel clean but also sort of soft and plumped up

FartnissEverbeans · 25/05/2020 21:15

Avoid foaming face washes - they contain surfactants, which can block pores.

I use Cetaphil Oily Skin Wash. It doesn’t foam, but I’ve used it with my cheapo Clarisonic knockoff and it worked fine. I’m prone to breakouts too.

Custardcreamies101 · 26/05/2020 03:51

Cleansing brushes aggravate the skin making acne worse.

Cerave foaming cleanser is good

Girlinglasses · 26/05/2020 04:22

Foaming cleansers aren't great, especially for oily skin. The ingredient that makes them foam also strips oil from your skin, which can dry it out- this makes your skin feel nice and clean initially but actually causes your skin to produce more oil throughout the day. It can also be an irritant to a lot of skin. The Ordinary Squalane cleanser is fab and costs buttons. REN stuff is also fab but pricier. Best way to reduce oil is make sure your skin is fully hydrated - use a hyaluronic acid serum before any run of the mill moisturiser am and pm, and Nip+Fab Glycolic Acid pads are great at night of you feel a breakout coming on!

Perfect Whip, a Japanese brand by Shisheido (?) one in the blue tube

easterbunny123 · 26/05/2020 08:41

Another vote for Cetaphil

cannaethink · 26/05/2020 13:31

Simple refreshing face wash, in green packaging, is my favourite. It ranges from £2-£5 depending on the shop. It doesn’t foam though, I agree with the other poster that it’s best to avoid foaming ones. My skin is combination too.

Scattyhattie · 27/05/2020 02:10

I like the cerave foaming cleanser suits my combination skin, its not overly foamy.

peachypetite · 27/05/2020 05:23

Why do you want a foaming one?

pancakeloverrr · 27/05/2020 05:30

I second caudalie. It's foamy but not drying. I rotate that one with another one, depending on the season.

I've also tried the japanese one and that one is v. Drying.

slinkysaluki · 27/05/2020 09:35

Nivea one in pink tube is good. It doesn't leave your face with that tight feeling
