If you have rapidly growing out highlights, what are you doing with your hair until hair salons reopen?

Are you just leaving it to grow out or do you have a good temporary solution?

I've light brown hair and I have highlights - some of which are an ash blonde. They have grown out in a way that looks okay but there's not much blonde around my face and forehead and I hate looking at myself in the mirror and seeing my natural drab brown colour close to my face. I was hoping more grey would grow through as it's a nice white grey but none of it shows. It's around my temples and underneath my hair.

What's everyone else doing who usually has highlights?

Haha thanks @Lemmings123. I loves him. I used 25g powder to 75g peroxide.

Using a root touch up for days when anyone important might see it. I bought the loreal spray but I wasn't a huge fan as it wasn't brilliant at lightening the hair and it made my hair go hard like hairspray. So I bough a pencil and a powder from make up revolution. They were a few quid and they've been pretty good.

Messy bun here!

My roots are gunmetal with silver around my face, which I think I prefer to my bottle blonde. I am contemplating asking for silver highlights and toner instead of blonde when the hairdressers open.

Not brave enough to bleach it myself.

My hair before lock down I had died it purple. It's currently at the roots gone brown , lower down its plum and near the ends it's turning a blondie looking lilac.

I am so desperate for a hairdresser. I'm wanting to let the colour grow out but it seems to be clinging on for life. I might have to get a brown to go over it. I'm not sure.
I have been cutting my fringe about 4 times since lock down I'm to scared to cut the rest of my hair that's half way down my back now lol.

I also bought a semi permanent home dye and coloured it a similar shade to my natural colour. It looks much better than I thought it would.

My hairdresser works from her home - she has converted one room and added a backwash. A few weeks ago she mixed my usual colour into black bowls, and left it outside covered in foil with instructions. I picked it up on my daily walk. My daughter applied it and it’s great! My attempt to cut my fringe less so!
