Surgical lip lift

I’m passing the time by fantasising about what beauty treatments I would love to get if/when lockdown lifts enough.......

My lips have always been small and thin, and also pretty wonky (I’ve been told I talk out of one side of my mouth, although I can’t feel it)

I’ve experimented with fillers and had varying degrees of success but even the best treatment I’ve had left me with slight duck lip , and I’ve noticed you can’t see much of my teeth when I talk, only when I smile widely.

I’ve been looking into surgical lip lift and very curious. Has anybody had this treatment and want to share your feedback? I’d love to have the space between mode and mouth shortened and filler looking lips

I’ve never heard of it before. I’ve heard of plasma fibroblast. It can increase the volume of lips with no injections. But It wouldnt be as full as getting fillers.

Wow, I have been considering this too! Doubt you’ll get many responses here because it’s not a well known treatment.

Personally I want to increase the amount of tooth display, my top lip sort of covers my top arch. It would be nice to have a lifted/flipped top lip too, more of a natural pout.

Have you looked into surgeons/pricing yet? The main thing that’s putting me off are potential rare side effects, such as weakened muscles/weak smile.

Yes I’ve wondered about Botox lip flip but there just doesn’t seem to be much options in this country. Let’s keep each other posted of any findings. I’m still in research stage and also trying to dissolve old filler which has migrated and lumped (nice) so want a clean slate before I go for consultations etc

I will definitely keep you updated!

Not many practitioners offer Botox lip flip due to side effects, it’s common to get asymmetry, difficulty smiling/eating/speaking etc as it paralyses the muscles that you need for normal functions.

I had my shit lip filler dissolved recently tooGrin I think I’m going to travel to 1 of 2 consultants in London/Kent if I go ahead, they seem to carry out a lot of these so I’d feel safer in their hands. Price is around £3k but worth their expertise
