I was given £150 at work today from the family of a lady who we cared for until she sadly passed away, I thought it might be a nice idea to buy a piece of jewellery with it.
I only know of h Samuel and Nothing has jumped out at me, so just looking for website recommendations please.

It's a lovely legacy and one you should take time to spend. Ignore the high street jewellers (who sell rubbish at inflated prices). While away the corona hours looking at posh jewellery sites like Tiffany and de Beers, and fantasize a bit because this stage is about understanding exactly what you like. Include costume and vintage and pre-owned jewellers, to decide exactly what pleases you and more important, what you think you would wear. Then, having worked out the style you love, consider whether you want everyday or a dress accessory. Would you like earrings? A cocktail ring? A bangle?

If this is helpful, I will tell you the jewellery I wear ATM 24/7 and rarely change. I don't take it off in the shower. Mismatched earrings (one hoop, one stud) a neckchain (very plain, but the first gift DH gave me 32 years ago) this is often changed for a single string of black mismatched freshwater pearls, a thin gold bangle left me from my mat GM, and my wedding ring, eternity ring and a Russian wedding ring.

I very rarely wear my engagement ring -- although I love it, it was a replacement for the original which was stolen or lost some years ago. But if I am in a mood for a change of jewellery, I have a set of Tesco huggie hoops in black and gold and silver that cost £12 that I wear a lot. It's not always about spending much. You can adore cheap jewellery that's perfect and value it higher than stuff a valuer would price higher. Allow yourself the time to make an informed aesthetic judgement and the legacy will probably please you for the rest of your life.

Have a look at Carrie Elizabeth - some beautiful pieces with real meaning.

What a lovely gift and a lovely way to spend it 🙂

If you would like something a bit more unusual but well designed, two shops come to mind. Look at Liberty. Start with low prices first. Also look at the Victoria and Albert Museum shop. Lovely ideas there. Start with high prices first!
