Should I just seize the opportunity to go grey?

I’ve been tempted to stop colouring my hair for ages but too chicken to go through with it. Obviously I haven’t been to the hairdresser for 2.5 months now and this is where I’m at. I still have to go to work every day. Before all this I thought I would never appear In public while growing out the colour so had no idea how to do it but now I’m thinking just go for it. Get a good cut when hairdressers are back and brave it out.
What do you think? Will I be brave enough to go for it when I have a choice? Will it age me terribly to grow it out? I’m 54 by the way.

Should I just seize the opportunity to go grey?

What about if you were naturally dark brown but now your roots grow in snow white? I mean completely devoid of colour. Like me Sad

That looks good, op. Your thread has inspired me. I am so sick of the endless cycle of dye, tone, bleach, roots, condition! I have ordered some smoky shampoo to see if I can blend it all in and go for it!

Your hair looks amazing! I love it! Such a beautiful colour!

@Blossomtoes @LavendulaAngustifolia I think you are both right… I need an injection of strong colour somewhere. Also need to rethink my makeup which again has always been very understated

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on my hair by the way. Very much appreciated… it was a bit scary but I’m delighted I did it
