I've been wanting the dyson airwrap complete for agessss! I just can't justify paying for it right now!

Is there anything similar out there that doesn't cost as much?

And if anyone has it is it as amazing as it looks?

It isn't. My Dsis has one and has buyers regret. Watch some of the unsponsored youtube videos. The effect is very short lived.

I love mine. I have quite thick naturally wavy hair that always looks a mess if I don't style it. I love being able to wash and dry/style it with the air wrap so quickly and it always looks good. I don't tend to use it for curls much because I'm lazy. My hair has never been in better condition. That said, I'm also interested in any responses to this post because I want to get a cheaper version to keep at my parents for when I stay there.

@HasaDigaEebowai wow really! I'll take a quick look at the videos, thanks 😊

@mynameiscalypso see I wear extensions, my hair is very fine and thin to begin with. I just think it's looks amazing and it will be so much easier to dry and style with.

I love mine. DP bought me it for xmas. My hair is fairly thin and curly but I like it straighter and this only takes me 5 mins. Whereas blow drying and straightening takes sooooo long.
It is expensive though

I love mine. I have very fine hair and for the first time in my life I have a machine that makes doing my hair easy and with good results.

Greywind1523 · 01/05/2020 12:14

I love it for drying as I can get away with not straightening if I’ve done it on a morning. I also think my hair is less frizzy than if I use a normal hairdryer. My hair is always a mess once I’ve slept on it though so I then have to get the straighteners on it.

I haven’t used it for curling much but I do seem to have trouble getting the curls to stay. I have the same problem with a curling wand however unless I use loads of mousse and hairspray so could just be my hair type (fine but lots of it and naturally wavy).

Enchanted19 · 01/05/2020 12:15

@mynameiscalypso @Frazzlerock @Thighmageddon would you all say it's worth the money?

Enchanted really worth the money for me.

My hair is less frizzy and looks in better condition and even though I'm currently looking for a new pair of straighteners, it's an I want straighteners rather than need them.

mynameiscalypso · 01/05/2020 12:21

For me, yes. But I bought it with an unexpected bonus from work so it didn't come out of normal spends so it wasn't like it cost anything if that makes sense.

Frazzlerock · 01/05/2020 12:21

Well I was toying with the idea of buying one myself before DP bought it, so I would say so yes.
I agree with the 'less frizzy' too which is a real bonus!

LordEmsworth · 01/05/2020 12:29

Also love mine. I can get my hair from wet to looking good in 5 minutes, and if I spend 20 mins doing all the curls, it looks amazing (I have never been able to curl my hair before).

missfliss · 01/05/2020 12:33

Sorry I love mine. No other heated tools needed and my hair is in fab condition despite being beached

Enchanted19 · 01/05/2020 12:45

I think I might invest in one 😂
