False eyelashes

Last year I put up a post asking for help for self tan for the uninitiated and it was great - I've really enjoyed looking slightly tan for the past year so thanks!

I'd really like to try false lashes, and lockdown seems a great time to make a fool of myself and practice applying them, seeing how long they'll last etc.

Can you let me know what you get? How long it lasts etc? What do you do on a night out? Take glue with you?

A breakdown of False Eyelashes for Dummies would be fab Flowers

I really don't want to get semi permanent ones as I rub my eyes a lot when I'm tired (or allergies)

Guys- you can get self adhesive lashes- no need to apply glue, or use magnets, you just stick them on.
Caveat- I have no idea what they are like as have not tried them but they are all over facebook and look fairly easy.
I think ive given up on anything except mascara- lash extensions were the best for me but I had an allergic reaction to the glue so cant risk it any more. I'm gutted- I loved having massive lashes

Well I've just tried a set of some magnetic ones from Amazon for £10 - they came with eyelash placer things and it did not go well Grin Nice looking kit and the eye liner does work (I snipped a bit off when trimming the lashes to match my own and tested it!)

But the whole eyelash just wouldnt hold on my eye at all, just pings up at the corners, it wouldnt bend around my eyelash shape.

Onwards to traditional falsies!

Do I need an decent eyelash glue or is any that come with the lashes ok?

Just use the one that comes with the lashes - eyelure I use

Just to update this, I've had some amazing falsies from Amazon for £5. Eyelure ones, the most natural ones they do.

They are very easy to put on and the glue that comes in the packet is perfect to.
