If you have ginger hair would you wear pink !?

I have ginger hair - more orange than dark red tone .
I tend to wear black , black , black , grey and some green.
I like black .(rock/biker life)
But I’ve seen a lovely pink fluffy cardigan in next and I have never worn pink in my life.
Would it clash with my hair colour ?

I think it depends on choosing the right shade of pink for the shade of your ginger/red/auburn hair.
I can pull of certain shades of pink - the more salmon and “nude” pinky shades.

Bright pinks are a no, baby pink is a no, reddish pinks are hit and miss for me. Some can look ok and others make my face look too red. I have some dark red jeans and they look great on but couldn’t pull off the same shade in a top. Same with orange tones and purples. Some can look ok others just don’t work. Basically every colour on that end of the colour spectrum can work in the right tone but more often than not it’s just too much.

Think it depends on complexion most of all. DD is pale, blue eyes, orange hair and looks good in most shades of pink but dreadful in yellows.

Certain pinks yes. Pale or lighter pinks are out for me.

Also I think Julianne Moore is the best dressed red head out there, or one of, I’m sure she wears it well.

Redhead here - have always worn pink. In fact I got married in pink last year and felt fab!

Peach, coral, apricot pinks look lovely on people with ginger/ auburn hair. Ginger hair and blue eyes equals spring, which equals warm tones, bright and clear.
Pastels and cool pinks wouldn't suit.

My ex h was redhead and pink really suited him! I think you should go for it!

Maroon might be nice for gingers as well as dark forest green.

We are all auburn and red heads too. Never worn pink so cannot comment.

It can look lovely. It is as much a matter of personality as complexion, though.

Also, there's is pink, which I can take or leave, and there is PINK, of which as a blue toned, pale skinned brunette I have a wardrobe full.

My flame haired DD wears pink, red, purple, orange you name it. ITs having style, panache and how you wear it. No colour is out.

For those of you that say coral, would you weae this as ginger?

@Nikeybikey i probably would. I just avoid paler shades as I look washed out.

I can wear any shade of pink except for pastel/baby pink, but I’m a readhead with neutral to warm skin. I find T-shirt’s, jumpers and scarfs with a combination of pink & grey work really well with my colouring.

I’m a redhead with deep red hair, v pale skin with blue eyes and no freckles. I too look awful in khaki and maroon is my worst colour. But salmon pink, coral pink and even neon pink look good on me. I think the links need to be yellow-based rather than blue-based, fwiw. But like others I also think you should wear whatever you enjoy!

@Nikeybikey - yes, I would. Not so much now I’m nearly 40 because my taste has changed but in my twenties I wore that kind of shade all the time and think it looked good.
