Where are you buying clothes from?

I own very few clothes (I like a minimal wardrobe). Although I have some joggers for the gym, and a pair of outdoor trousers for walking I only have two pairs of jeans for everyday wear. They are now both wearing out and I am unable to replace them from Next as I normally would.

What's everyone doing? Or do most people own more than two pairs of bottoms? Smile

My favourite clothes shops:
GAP (loungewear/ relaxed casual clothes)
Zara (nice tops/ “out for lunch” type clothes)
Reiss (formal clothes)
M&S are great for work stuff and underwear too.
Coach (only for treats)

Thanks, which do you find best for jeans/jeggings? (I'm size 16 if that makes a difference. Another reason for my small wardrobe!).

Next is taking online orders; you need to order about 7am before the orders fill for the day though.

Next still open for deliveries right now, just having a browse!

I think so, yes. Supermarkets are pretty good for clothes. I had a wander around the clothes section of Tesco the other day. I don't think you can try anything on though. Sainsburys are good for clothes as well.

I've just bought some really nice leggings from Sainsbury's. They are nice and thick and the material seems quite sturdy so they hold you in a bit. They are just plain black leggings but definitely feel nicer than the usual ones I buy. I'm the same size as you.

I'd like some nice long-line floaty tops to wear with them. Everything I have atm is too short and doesnt cover my bum.

I can’t imagine having two pairs of bottoms. I didn’t think I had a lot of clothes but all types included at least 20.

TomatoLatte · 29/04/2020 16:29

It was the "Luxury soft touch" ones I bought. £10 a pair.

Uniqlo for everything!
Minimal, classic, affordable.

Agree with Sainsbury’s for leggings (I think they’re the Modal luxury ones about £10) and their soft skinny jeans are great too, as comfortable as leggings but definitely jeans. Sainsbury’s deliver.

I have four pairs of jeans plus heaps of jeggings and leggings then summer trousers in linen and cotton. Many more than 2 but I’m a bit of a clothes addict.

I ordered some sandals and kids clothes from next today at 11am - I think they are taking more orders now as last week you had to do it really early.

also ordered some nice silver jewellery from etsy and estella Bartlett to cheer me up!

GAP / Zara are my favourite for jeans. I have just bought some leggings to lounge in from GAP actually, they are hands down the best leggings I’ve ever had.

Traviis · 29/04/2020 20:13

Well, the news that Next is possible again is a bit of a relief. I will buy a pair of jeans and I loved their linen blend trousers last summer so I'll have a pair of those too.

Thank you so much!
