As above :). Extremely dry and damaged under arm skin, so any recommendations about how I can "detox" them

DH uses no deodorant or soap - but does shower a lot and have to say he smells lovely

ABetterOblivion · 24/04/2020 13:42

Dove deo stick.

Mitchum stick is the only one I can use that doesn't cause a rash or soreness.

Sanex sensitive

You probably need to give your skin a break from any thing to give it chance to heal.

I use dove pure which works but doesn't have as many nasties.

Maybe a natural deodorant would help? La Roche posay do one for sensitive skin

Earth Conscious is great stuff. Comes in a little aluminium tin. It's a thick paste and takes about 2 mins to dry on the armpit. Fresh all day, best I've ever used.

You shouldn't use anything on your skin if it’s broken. Assuming your skin is intact are you looking for a deodorant or anti-perspirant? I find some antiperspirants really make me itch. I can tolerate Dove Antiperspirant stick or roll on absolutely fine. They also do a deodorant called Dove 0% with no aluminium which might suit you better. I tend to wear that or a equivalent at a weekend or if I’m not at work and they both work well.
