Face masks and spots

NHS. Wearing a face mask for hours is giving me lovely raised spots all over my cheeks. I do wear some foundation to work though it doesn't last long under cover and given how sweaty I get (nice!).
Anyone got any suggestions as to how I can prevent the spots please?

Not sure how you could prevent them - sorry - but I have found the Nip + Fab range a miracle for my previously spotty skin 😀

Completely the same. Large boil type spots that are so painful, around my nose and chin. We are wearing the surgical masks which also smell awful, so definitely a reaction to skin after a time wearing them. I haven't found a solution I'm afraid, but just wanted to say you're not alone!

Have you tried Assos Chamois Creme or Lanacane on the edges. Our nurses have had some success with this.

The foundation is probably helping the spot formation as it's essentially a plug on top of your skin. Dropping that for now and adding in a direct acid exfoliant is probably your best shot -- look for salicylic acid. The Ordinary Salicyclic 2%? Or if you want something you can just pick up in Boots then Nip and Fab pads.

Ditch the foundation for the time being. Use a cleanser and a hot cloth then just use a slightly richer moisturiser than you normally would use. I now use night cream all the time, we all do.
Now, if anybody has any suggestions for face pressure sores....
