Is there anywhere to try on shoes?

My daughter has come home from uni with only one pair of shoes. She has a disability that means she has to be very careful about what shoes she wears and how they fit. She wears inserts for stability too.
Does anyone have any thoughts about how to get hold of a pair of shoes for her. She needs to check that they will take an insert and hold her foot securely.

Supermarkets?

Or order from somewhere that is still delivering and accepting returns.

Are supermarkets still selling shoes? That is a brilliant suggestion. I am not sure about buy and return. Even the same style, the next season can be unsuitable.
The shoe needs to be sturdy, holds round the ankle, laced and deep enough for an insert.

Yes they are. Supermarkets are still selling everything they did before. I’d go in the evenings as they are less crowded.

Could you not get her the same shoes that she has had before? I know it's a bit shit but will tide her over.

Tu at Sainsbury's have a range called Sole Comfort--their trainers can take orthotics if I go up a size.

Our local Tesco is still allowing access to clothing/shoes too.
