Dermaroller

Hello everyone. I just bought a Derma roller / micro needler along with some Hyaluronic acid serum. Not quite sure how to use, does anyone else use a dermaroller and have you noticed a difference? I think I’m going to put the serum on, use the roller, then finish with more serum. Really excited to see how it turns out as my skin is currently terrible, despite a very healthy diet and three litres of water a day!

There are many YouTube videos so check them out. Never used one before but I know you have to make sure you sterilise properly.

I have one but scared to use it yet as I can't get a hold of the sterilising alcohol just now. Interested to see how others have got on too.

Let us know how you get on, OP.

I've had a brand-new, unused dermaroller in my draw for several months. Bought it for my stretch marks. Think I might give it a go while we're in lock down.

I used mine a couple of times (I sterilise it with rubbing alcohol) but I haven't really seem much difference. I was using it once a week. Maybe I should start again and use it for longer.

I’ve had professional ones done and bought one of amazon along with some numbing cream you need to go over 4/5 times always in the same direction and not over active acne but they do work I had terrible acne scars on my contour cheek line they were just awful now there manageable

I have a dr pen micro needling device, it is much better for the skin as the needles go in and out in a perpendicular motion rather than the larger puncture angles from the roller style. Well worth investing in if you will be doing it as a regular thing.
