And recommends for Rosacea products?

I’ve had red creases at the sides of my nose for YEARS. Occasionally I’ll get the odd whitehead too, considering I’m almost 50 I’m a bit past dealing with spots. The skin is red and looks sore but isn’t at all, it’s just red. It’s not dryness - and if I use any kind of heavy moisturiser I just get more spots. I think (assume) it’s rosacea.

I used the Roche posay rosalaic intense for a while and it did diffuse the redness somewhat.

Before I splurge £20 on another bottle, are there any other alternatives or ideas I should consider?

Thanks

I use Pai cleanser and their day cream, REN anti-redness serum and at night normally La Roche Posay Cicaplast or Boots Cica paste.
Pai and REN aren’t cheap but I’ve bought so many other products and then couldn’t use them that I just stick to what I know works these days.

Soolantra cream either from your gp or online - my gp couldn’t find it to prescribe so directed me to pharmacy2u. Works a treat on the spots caused by rosacea x

Clinique redness solutions. I use the cleanser, the daily relief cream, the foundation, the powder and in summer I use the tinted sunblock. It's wonderful and keeps my face calm. Mine gets very irritated and sore if I use anything else.

DH has got rosacea, and he uses the range by Kalme. I've got hyper sensitive skin and can use all of the range too without issues.

I use body shop camomile cleansing balm if I'm wearing makeup, superdrug micellar oil if not. Then the ordinary hyaluronic acid followed by nivea moisturiser in the morning, and at night the ordinary azaleic acid followed by nivea night cream.
I also wear spf 50 every day, take supplements of evening primrose oil and collagen, and avoid meat (other than fish esp. salmon) and dairy. Try to eat as many anti- inflammatory foods as possible e.g. turmeric, salmon, oats, celery juice etc.

Cover it in sudocrem at night.

Count out/ cut down on dairy, alcohol , spicy foods and sugar, go decaf on hot drinks.

Drink plenty of water.
