Hi all. I'm wondering if any of you can help. I normally use Clarins cleanser, toner and moisturiser which cost roughly £80-£90 to replace all 3. I'm trying to make some cut backs in the current financial situation and I was wondering if any of you could recommend cheaper alternatives? I have quite dry, sensitive skin that gets clogged up easily.

I haven't used clarins products in a long time so i can't recommend a cheaper alternative, but lots on here rate The Ordinary. I moved to their products from Eve Lom and Khiels and found their products just as good but i do miss the delightful scents of expensive products!

I think Clarins make a similar range of skincare for M&S. That seems to come up on here from time to time.

Nuxe products are cheaper than Clarins and have the feel good factor.

I like Decleor Aromacleanse cleanser and toner, and some good deals online for the supersized versions. But I am having a break from that at the moment.

If you want good skincare with no frills La Roche Posay. By no frills I mean clinical looking bottles, no smells etc.

The Cerave range is cheap and effective.

Thankyou, that's given me something to look at. I'm not so fussed about the packaging but I must admit the smell is a big factor

I used to be a big Clarins fan but now only use the facial oil. I do like the Garnier range - the rose cleansing milk is very nice. I also like Simple and some Body shop though that can be a bit expensive. Also like Superdrug Vitamin E and Naturall radiant but also use Liz Earle stuff too.

Smell is so subjective. I cannot use something if I hate the smell so I'd probably go for something unscented at the moment until you can get back into shops and sniff things.

The Tropic range is really good.
UK made, vegan, all natural etc
