Lip fillers?

Ok, I know there are more pressing concerns right now but I need a distraction and planning for the things that I can do after this mess is helpful.
I’ve always wanted to try lip fillers. I wouldn’t say there’s anything inherently wrong with my lips but I think that subtly done they can look great.
I really would only want the smallest amount. More to enhance the Cupid’s bow area and to make the bottom a bit fuller. Is that possible or would it have to be done the same equally all through the lip? What kind of prices would I be looking at? Aftercare? Top ups? Basically if you have any knowledge on this subject at all please share!
Tia

You can have filler placed exactly where you want it, a good practitioner will listen to you and only inject where necessary to achieve your goal

Personally I think £300 for 1ml is roughly the price for a skilled practitioner. Do your research, don’t cheap out

Aftercare is simple, you’re just treating minor bruising and swelling.

Top us vary per person, eg you might metabolise the product quickly so want a top up sooner.

It's just a flat out no from me. I have Botox n fillers, so I'm obviously not against it but I've never seen anyone ever look better for it. Ever. You can always tell. Nadine baggott has a tiny bit put in and hers is done very well and is v subtle but you can still tell. I can guarantee that you look better with your own, untouched lips, even if they're really thin, than if you have filler put in.

Yes I have to agree with barking. In the shop I worked in, a lot of customers had fillers, and it always looked obvious. I mean there may have been some who were not obvious that I didn't notice.. but all the noticeable ones looked bad. I say this as someone who had toyed with the idea of getting fillers myself in the past. Seeing them in real life really put me off them.

My top lip is ever so slightly wonky - not that anyone would ever notice except me, when I put a bright lipstick on. I get a teeny tiny 0.5ml every 8 months or so. It evens out my top lip and plumps my lower one ever so slightly. Friends of mine have been surprised when I've told them as it's never been noticeable but for me, I really like the subtle change rather than anything obviously huge x
