On the assumption that my much needed hair appointment will be cancelled, can anyone recommend a good home dye for dark blond/ light brown hair and must cover grey!

No idea but I need to know this too! Mind if I just quietly park myself here to see the replies? Grin

Park away! Let’s hope someone knowledgeable comes along soon!

I would go with Loreal Excellence in light brown or Majirel in 7.0

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 17/03/2020 23:22

Thanks! The Majirel is looking good!

Oh watching.
Can see my roots coming through- I was due at hairdresser at the weekend and cancelled. I must be 75%grey (hadn't realised it was so much).
And my hairdresser has closed til the end of March (RoIreland).

There will be lots of hats worn unless I can sort it myself.

I’ll neeed this thread In a couple of short weeks!

As I’ve said on another thread, step away from the box dye and towards mixing your own colour using something like Wella Koleston. Your salon should have a record of the numbers they use on you, and by choosing the same numbers and mixing with low strength developer you will be able to touch up your roots with minimal damage.

There are lots of YouTube videos with mixing and application instructions so it’s worth doing a bit of research first.

Thanks for the advice!
