Slip on shoes for someone that can't wear them?

I need some shoes for work for spring. Have to be flats but I have never found any - whether loafer or ballerina style that stay on my feet. They are really wide at the top and narrow at the heel, so anything wide enough then has nothing to grip on at the back and they flop right off.

Are there any brands/styles that may work for my shape of foot?

Thanks

Something with some elastic or adjustable width, perhaps.
M&S has some nice shoes now and they were so comfortable when I tried them. They looked like flat court shoes, and I think they might be ones that you either like or don't.
I'd look at the natural shoe ranges and spanish and german type brands.

You could always have a look at brands like Hotter, Fitflop and Skechers.

Have you looked at Mary Janes? Fitflop or Skechers Mary Janes are fairly wide but the strap should make them secure enough.

I have skinny heels and find sling backs tend to stay on better than normal ones.
Does it have to be slip-ons? If not, Mary Janes might work better.

The european brands I was thinking of were things like ecco, josef siebel, rohde, pikolinos, gabor, camper and the like.

I'd look at ones that have some means of adjustments.

Some of the brands are frowned upon on here but they make a range of different styles. Not all of them are frumpy. And I'd rather be a bit frumpy than have painful feet.

Thank you. I struggled with Hotter, I'm too wide for standard and not wide enough for wide.

I tried pikolono and Gabor last year and again not wide enough. I'll have a look at Marks though, thanks.

And yes, if I have to wear heels ever I can only wear Mary Janes or slingbacks

Do you have flat arches? I always struggled to wear slip on shoes and put it down to having narrow heels. I found out after a foot scan in Hotter that I have flat arches which means my feet don’t fill the shoes in the same way. Game changer.

OP, might it be worth seeing someone like a podiatrist? If it is something like flat arches, they might be able to suggest special insoles or something.

ooh, thank you both. I think I do, I was under hospital for my walking/feet as a child, I remember being made to walk up and down corridors endless times whilst various people watched. I'll try and get to a hotter store for a scan.
