Eyelash Curlers - which ones are really good?

I usually spend around £4-5 & not surprisingly they’re not great, well they do curl/lift my eyelashes but only for a few minutes, then I apply mascara and by the time I’ve brushed my hair or whatever my eyelashes look non-existent!

So i’m prepared to spend a little extra on a really good pair. I’ve seen the Tweezerman ones in boots at £17 which I think is quite a lot - I’m kind of wondering how they would be different to my usual £5 ones? Is paying more for them better?

And staying on the subject of eyelashes, again I usually go for low budget ones, any mid price (no more than £20) that are really good? Thanks!

Following.

I normally heat mine with my hairdryer for a couple of seconds (be careful here if using metal ones!) then apply to lashes. It means mine stay curled all day. Ideally would like a self heating pair but haven't got round to looking at whether these exist.

Shu uemura are the best.

Do you have very straight hair? Mine is and I find all eyelash curlers are shit.

Only perming works for me.

Surratt. Best I have had definitely in a life time of using. But I think it depends on the shape of your eye. Some of the really recommended ones pinched me

I have the Tweezerman ones. Have had them a few years now and they are fantastic. I used to buy the cheaper ones but would only use the Teeezerman ones now. I pulse them on each set of lashes 5 times and apply mascara. The curl holds all day

Shu Umera used to be best but they have stopped making them now. There a lots of fakes around. I use tweezerman which are next best things. Cheap ones tend to break quickly or don’t hold the curl.

Shu uemura are amazing I'm treasuring my pair as they are no longer made.

The Shiseido ones are really good, expensive but you can buy replacement rubber bits so they last forever.

Shu Uemura ones are very good, they no longer sell in the UK although I have seen the curlers available through Amazon etc. I have these and they give a lovely curl on my very short and straight lashes.

Shiseido ones are apparently good substitutes.

I've never got in with eyelash curlers and over the years I've tried loads. Best thing I ever used was a Bourjois mascara that had a battery operated rotating brush. Best curl ever. Then they stopped making it and I'm back to my old straight lashes.
