Can anyone recommend good treatments/creams/magic potions that help with acne? It's very red and sore and generally around the jaw line Chin and neck and leaves scars.
I am 36 and have been sterilised. I've always suffered occasionally from a teenager and previously took the contraception pill which helped.

I suffer from acne around my chin too. I've recently started using A313, which is retinol that you can get in French pharmacies but you can also buy it on Amazon. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it does seem to be working, the spots are coming to a head quicker and fading faster as well. It gets really good reviews so I'm hopeful...

This stuff is pretty good. May not completely stop the spots from appearing, but it has definitely reduced mine, and makes them disappear much faster. I had to stop using it on my cheeks though as they are slightly sensitive and it irratated them, but I can use it on the rest of my face no problem.
Ievery now and then, with a bad spot, I'll dab a little on the spot and leave it on over night.

If they scar you need to see the dr & start working your way through what they have to offer. It’s a very treatable medical condition that 5he cosmetic industry has hijacked.

Don’t do what I did and struggle on for years trying various creams, diets etc & end up with cystic acne at 40.

Definitely see the GP.

But, NEAT tea tree oil works wonders.

Spironolactone. Excellent for hormonal acne which sounds very much like what you have. Available from the GP on prescription.

Benzoyl peroxide gel is probably the most effective non prescription option but it’s treating the symptom not the cause iyswim.
