Can you improve lips without fillers, etc?

My lips aren't especially dry. It's probably just ageing but I'm sure they used to look better. I'm convinced they were a tiny bit bigger too.
What is the solution?
A magical potion must exist?

Sounds weird but mine are definitely smaller/less plump if I'm dehydrated so for me the magic potion is water. Lip exfoliation also really helps, even if it's a quick rub with the flannel when cleansing, plenty of lip balm and I always use a lip liner in the same (ish) shade as my lips, very slightly overline, then pat the lines in with a finger. Makes the world of difference.

Lip balm wise I use carmex during the day and Nuxe reve du miel at night as it stays on well and seems to have an effect overnight whereas carmex etc just smear off, but do the job and give a healthy sheen during the daytime.

I read it’s UV damage.

I'm going to buy an SPF lip balm! Any long lasting ones about?
I've also ordered the Nuxe overnight treatment that @dontgobaconmyheart mentioned. Thanks.

As we age certain changes may occur with lips - they can get thinner and less plump certainly, but there’s also subtle changes eg your top lip might drag down and cover your teeth more.

I don’t think a magical potion exists unfortunately.

I think drinking lots of water and keeping them hydrated will help. Makeup wise, you can try something like too faced’s plumping lip gloss. Or play around with glossy lipstick instead of matte, or subtly over lining your lips with a lip liner.

I've got skin chemist rose quartz lip plump which is good, and trifle sugar pear lip scrub also good.

They were both from beauty boxes (though full size) and I doubt I'd pay full price for them because of the cost.

Weirdly I find my lips much plumper in the morning, and they seem to get thinner throughout the day. I don't think it's dehydration.
