Am too much of a coward for waxing, have tried veet cream and end up all blotchy and red rash... anyone help with suggestions for my obviously sensitive skin??

Am such a coward though!! Imagine her doing one strip of wax and not letting her do any more!!!

Might try Nair - see if any better than Veet - do need something asap though - as take dd swimming every week (blush)

If you it isn't vvery thick or dark, cream is probably fine. I think there's an Immac for sensitive skin.

I always get mine waxed, as does a friend with no pain threshold - she takes paracetamol or nurofen beforehand and apparently it helps. Not sure how many she takes though...

Failing that, buy a bikini with shorts for bottoms.

Now there's a thought - shorts!! and top!! any ideas which websites to look and meantime will try other cream (isn't immac now veet??) ...

Have it waxed, it doesn't really hurt that much! Go to a salon and have your nails or something done afterwards so you enjoy the experience!

I think waxing in the bikini area hurts like hell, but I have it done during the summer. Trim a bit but only a bit) beforehand cause there's less of a tug; wear dead old knickers but ones that are cut the shape of your bikini/swimsuit; go to a reputable therapist. I have slightly sensitive skin and it did go rashy a bit for a few days but not half as much as shaving. Rub lavender oil on the next day to help with healing.
