As in not many lines or wrinkles . What has been your routine and products used ?

Just being nosy really and it’s something I’m interested in at the moment . I’m 44 and have always looked after my skin in a minimal way but feel like I am getting more lines every day !

60 here with very few lines. I avoid sun due to an allergy, and use facial spf 50 all year round.
Never smoked and have a good diet.
I have regular Dermalogica peel facials...have had facials since my early 40s and always use their Age Smart products.

My skin has suddenly become tight and dry

It sounds dehydrated. Up your intake of water, fruit and veg. And reconsider your skincare routine. Products fro dry and dehydrated skin are different, the first adds oil, the second water.

I would certainly recommend adding Superdrug Simply Pure serum, to your routine, before your moistriser. And maybe swapping your cleanser out for the CeraVe Hydrating face wash, if it feels tight or tingly after washing, and make sure that water is luke warm no sticking your face under a hot shower.

I'm 43 & get compliments on my skin. Hardly any lines.
Basically since my teens I wore a moisturiser with at least spf 15 every day then in the summer if I was out for more than about half an hour I would apply facial sun lotion.

I've never smoked, but I used to binge drink regularly so I have a few thread veins that I cover up. I've now given up alcohol.

I have quite a round face which makes me look younger but I'm in the process of losing 3 stone from 13 stone to 10 stone, I wonder if I will have more lines etc after I've lost the weight but for health reasons I need to be slimmer.

My Mum looks young for her age so does my sister.

It won’t reverse it but wearing sunscreen (spf 50) everyday should allow you to keep what you have for longer. Also keeping your BMI steady around 22-24 helps with body wrinkles too - lift weights

I'm 42 and I have very few lines/ wrinkles compared to some of my peers. I put it down to a combination of being a bit overweight (I'm noticing that as my slimmer friends get further into their 40s they are noticeably ageing relatively faster), avoiding the sun for much of my life as I am naturally pasty and just not that fond of sitting out in it.

I have been using prescription retinoids for the last couple of years which have noticeably improved the condition of my skin, plus SPF50 everyday. I don't think this will necessarily reverse any signs of ageing, but I think it will slow them down.

Other than that I have a fairly basic skincare routine. I don't eat particularly well, hate exercise and don't drink enough water so I don't think that has anything to do with it!
