Peach fuzz!

Morning all!
Since changing my pill I’ve noticed I’ve got facial peach fuzz. It’s not really bad but I want to get rid!
What’s the best thing please? I think I remember seeing on here a spring thing? I have a philips Lumea but what do I need to do first to get rid. Also, if it grows back does it grow back darker?

i dermaplane which gets rid of all the peach fuzz and dry skin and makes my skin look incredible. i get the blades from amazon for about £3. the hair doesn’t come back any thicker or darker than before.

I’ve not heard of dermaplane, I’ll check that out, thank you! How often do you have to do it?

I had it done professionally and wasn't sure at first, but I felt it made my foundation go on better and it has been slow to grow back. I have bought some blades from Amazon but felt they could have been sharper.

Can you post a link to the product you use, please, @sunshineandflowers?

BeansOnToast123 · 28/02/2020 13:37

Right then, I’ve found the springy thing so I’m going to give that a try first as that pulls the hair out at the root. Dermaplane looks like it just shaves the hair and leaves the root...I think!

Sensitive hair remover from the pound shop, leave on 4 minutes.

GVmama · 28/02/2020 17:58

The springy thing is ok but it’s not good at targeted hair removal or removing every single hair, it just reduces the amount/catches the longer ones. I expected it to be painful but it’s fine, and mildly addictive if anything.
Much easier and cheaper than dermoplaning etc, I got my spring from Primark for £1

sunshineandshowers21 · 28/02/2020 20:43

@Bella2020 not sure how to link on here, but these are the ones i use. if you type in dermaplaning blades into amazon they’re normally the first result.

I use the Gruum razor (really gentle but effective on face and body) and the Lumea together (PCOS and a quarter Italian) and it has reduced hair growth and the remaining hair is thinner and lighter.

You can't use it on freckles though (cover them with a white eye pencil). Alternatively, use an eyebrow razor, it won't reduce hair growth.

Thanks you, @sunshineandshowers21.

I use my epilator on the fuzzy chin and cheeks, and pluck my moustache with tweezers, but not in a targeted way, just sitting in front of the TV grabbing chunks of hair and absentmindedly pulling. It's not possible to pluck the chin hairs because they're not as tightly packed, and the epilator hurts too much on the 'tache.

Making myself sound really attractive here... Grin

BeansOnToast123 · 05/03/2020 12:34

Springy thing has finally arrived! No idea how to use it so I’m going to have to do some you tubing! I’ll let you know how it goes and what I think of it
