Beachy waves

I've just cut my hair into a blunt bob, just touching my shoulders, and would like to do the beachy wave thing but have never managed it, it always just goes into ringlets. Not meaning to be tasteless but I always liked Caroline Flack's style of waves.

I think I need some sort of wand as using GHDs has only ever made me look like wurzel gummidge. I have fine, very frizzy hair that gets easily heat damaged.

I have a babyliss curl secret, heated rollers, a babyliss wand (not a chunky one).

What's the best thing to use and what products would be good?

I just use my straigetners to do mine - I think the key things for me are dont wind them too tight for loose relaxed waves and also don't be afraid to brush them out afterwards.

Look up domdomhair on IG.

If using straighteners don't pull them right through to the end either, stop when you have a cm or two still sticking out the end. Took me years to get the hang of it despite watching several YouTube videos, my hairdresser showed me in the end.

I use a babyliss wand but it's a conical one so you avoid the ringlet look. Make sure you leave out the last half inch so the ends remain straight. Or maybe you could try braiding wet hair before bed and in the morning wake up to beachy waves.
