Best hairbrush

I have fine, curly hair. Washed every 2/3 days, only brushed when wet and not every time. I did try not brushing at all for a while, but it’s got a bit long for that. It’s never blow dried or styled (unless I’ve been to the hairdresser)
Anyhoo, the brush I had has just broken and not sure what might work best. I bought a GHD paddle brush (the big square one) but that’s rubbish and I’m currently using a tangle teaser type one, but I’m not overly enamoured.
I’ve attached a pic for reference (will also try and add some more, but it’s not working too well this morning!)

I have similar hair, The Wet Brush is great for me. I didn’t get on with the Tangle Teaser at all. I tend not to brush my hair when wet (or when I leave it curly) unless it’s with the Wet Brush but for years I used a wide toothed comb. If the Wet Brush doesn’t work maybe forget about brushing and just go with a wide toothed or Afro comb.

Thanks, I got on quite well for a while not brushing at all, but that was a couple of inches shorter ago. Think as it gets longer it also gets bigger and wilder 😁
I’ll have a look at a wide tooth comb.

Similar hair that I usually comb (wide tooth) but the Babyliss smoothing brush has been perfect for my hair.

Kent combs are great.
Never brush wet hair if you can help it.
You should dry hair with a t-shirt or the Only Curls towel if you have curls.
Curl diffuser attachments are good when using a hairdryer.

I finger detangle when I have plenty of conditioner in. it's the kindest way to detangle curls.

for styling a use a denmen brush (model D3'). it gives by far the best definition. It's not a detangling brush though. Just Google denman and curls and lots of videos come up. Looking at your hair, it would probably improve things. you will get much better defined curls.

Wide toothed comb! My hair is just wavy but prone to frizz and I never use a brush on it unless it's been straightened and even then a comb is still better. I finger comb when it's wet.
I wouldn't look at a brush if my hair was curly.

You've a really lovely curl pattern. Bet it'd be happier being combed.

Thank you for the recommendations, so glad I asked! I’m not worried about it being a tangle brush, that’s just the only one I have at home.
I’ve never known what to do with my hair, hence always just leaving it to dry on its own.

You want one of these OP, best used when wet with conditioner

I’ve just been having a look round amazon, so it’s in a basket of possibilities, currently also perusing curl friendly towels as mentioned above, as I’m not sure DH will appreciate nicking his T-shirt’s to dry my hair 😂😂
