moisturiser/skincare for 50+ work outdoors

I work outdoors in all weathers doing site inspections 2-3 days a week. My skin is awful because I get wind/weather battered in the winter so it's dry, scaly and blotchy, and in the warmer weather I wear factor 50 sunscreen which makes me spotty. I don't wear make up because it just wears off after an hour or two at work. Even when I'm not working outside it's hard to find make up that can deal with the dryness/spots/blotches, etc. It wasn't such a problem a few years ago, but I'm 54 now and I think my skin doesn't tolerate all this as well as it used to.

Does anyone else work outside in all weathers, and what products do you use? I would love to find a really good (& preferably not too expensive) moisturiser for winter and a facial sunscreen that isn't like a layer of thick grease.

Biore UV sunscreen via Amazon is effective and being alcohol-based, non-greasy. It's also fairly cheap, but may take a week or two for delivery.

THanks XingMing - I'll look that up. Is the alcohol ok on dryish skin?

Frezyderm SPF 50 is good too, also acts as a primer. I like both this and Biore watery essence.

My skin is "normal" and is okay with it. It's the Watery Essence as per BookMe's suggestion. If your skin is very dry, it would be sensible to boost moisturising. I've also heard good reports for Frezyderm.

I’m outside a lot too and the wind kills my skin. I really love Cica paste you use overnight, a few brands do them now, Boots and Liz Earle are a couple. They make a massive difference for me.
La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume is also good to use overnight, probably too rich for the daytime though.
Pai Back To Life Serum is one of my favourites for the mornings, although expensive.

OP, try to find a facecream that contains urea. It’s very moisturizing during cold times. Perhaps it’s nice to use a lovely moisturizing oil as a nightcare solution such as olive oil.

Biore Watery Essence is great, I have greasy skin too and it hasn’t broke me out. I also recommend La Roche Posay Anthelios.

THanks for all the suggestions. I've never even heard of most of these products (cica for example), so am going to do a bit of googling. I think I'm still living in the 1980s when it was all Nivea and thick greasy sunscreen Confused

I live on a farm so also out in all weathers, i use Clinique sunscreen in summer, you just use it as a moisturiser and its really light weight/non-greasy feeling. It seems expensive but a tube lasts ages.
