Truly long lasting lipsticks?

I am currently using a No7 lipstick that calims to last all day - the reality is it lasts about 2 hours, less if you are eating or drinking.

Are there any lipsticks out there that REALLY DO last????

i have a huge lip colour collection of mid tier to drug store and a couple of Dior and Chanel.

i have found MAC satin or matte formulations are very good. im constantly drinking or snacking and they last really well for me.

i dont find MAC that expensive, i mean clearly 17.50 is a lot but compared to Dior or Estee Lauder which are £27+

cheaper one that lasts very well is the matte Essence range at Wilko.

i put lipbalm on, one coat, blot and a final layer.

I just applied NYX liquid Suede....so I'll report back, iirc that lasted ages, I have gone for red lips today!

I feel a little over done for just nicking out for milk in tesco!

Urban decay is quite good.

The only time I can get any to last all day (12 hours) is when I use lipcote - you can get it from boots

I recently got very drunk wearing MAC's Lady Danger. Fell into bed and woke up still wearing it.

Stila liquid lipstick lasted through a lengthy roll in bed

I use revlon colour stay ultimate suede and it literally lasts me until lunch time and that is through eating breakfast/snacks and multiple cups of coffee and drinking water from a bottle! It's amazing think they have discontinued it but you can still get online. I got mine on amazon it's normally around £8. Better than the Maybelline super stay in my opinion

The Maybelline Ink range is a good stayer although I gather not all shades are equal. I wear No.15 "Lover" and it stays all day and overnight if I'm a a pattern and forget to take it off. It takes a bit of getting used to while it sets but I don't find it drying and it doesn't bleed. When I had lash extensions for a while getting ready just involved putting this lipstick on and I was good to go all day.
