Luxuriant Moustache, but blonde. How should I style it?

So it would seem that one of my many delightful symptoms of old age/peri menopause is the Dick Strawbridge look. My moustache is really quite luxuriant but blonde. I have so far trimmed it Blush and plucked the odd darker one (sooo painful!). I'm afraid that what I thought is invisible to others probably isn't as no no longer need the magnifying mirror to inspect it and might even be able to clip it back any day now....or plait it.

What do you do with a blonde moustache? Rip the whole lot off? And If so, how? Best method and also, for those who've been there, does it grow back stubby and dark?

Wax it

Threading - that and my chin of it’s beautiful blonde hirsuteness. Take two ibruprofen and an antihistamine first.

Wax.

My colleague has a blond one. I think she thinks it’s ok cos it’s fair. But she resembles a walrus.

I am the snail! But I don't have a moustache because I wax it off with those little strips cut them into quarters for better control

Esspee · 09/02/2020 23:19

I get it waxed. It glistens in the sunlight.😬

Wax it. The more you do it the easier it gets. Don’t worry though, I found as you go grey the escapees become less noticeable.

The springy hair removal thing..

I have a facial epilator (Braun). It REALLY hurt the first time - so much that I gave up part way through and went to bed. Took a painkiller the next day and finished the job.

It really doesn't hurt now - I no longer take painkillers beforehand- I presume because I do it often enough that I just have a few odd hairs.

Mine is ok for now, but I will buy a Phillips Lumiere if it gets more obvious.

Buy gel wax strips. They don't hurt and don't leave sticky wax on your face.
