How can you tell if your bra fits properly?

I know how to measure myself, but when I try different brands and styles they fit differently. What do you look for exactly, in terms of fit?

Band doesnt rise up at the back. Central gore sits against the ribs between your breasts. No spillage out the top or sides

Find BooborBust online. Loads of useful fitting guides and info on there.

Band should be at the same height all the way round- no riding up at the back. Boobs should be encased well with no quad boobage and no wrinkling at the cup.

Thanks! Makes sense!

That it makes my tits look amazing.

You should never need to squeeze your boobs back into the bra. Quite the opposite. First, lean forward and pull all the boob into the cup, from all under your armit. Repeat on the other side. Then put a tight t-shirt on. If you breathe in and see any boob pressing over the bra, you need bigger cup.

I find it's worth lifting your hands above your head a couple of times top, as it will immediately show you if it's going to creep up when you're wearing it.

I've actually tried on plenty of bras that are technically a great fit but still aren't comfortable. So if you find one that's a great fit (no bulging or side boob, feels secure, snug in the band but not uncomfortably tight) but still isn't comfortable, don't think the sizing/measuring doesn't work, it's just that certain manufacturers make slightly different shapes.

It's like shoes. I know what size my feet are, but it doesn't mean that every size 4 shoe on the market fits me.
