I am contemplating buying these. I'm 33 so should I steer clear or give them a go? Any suggestions as to how I could style them?

As in you're too young for them.

emilybrontescorsett · 24/01/2020 06:48

Wear whatever shoes you like.

cocomelon23 · 24/01/2020 06:50

They're a bit frumpy

Guacamole · 24/01/2020 06:54

You could get away with them at 93! You’re 33 please don’t start thinking you’re too old to wear anything, you’re never too old.

amymel2016 · 24/01/2020 06:58

Bloody hell OP, you’re 33!! Of course you can wear them! What do you think you should be wearing?! Wear whatever you want

sparklefarts · 24/01/2020 07:02

I always think the worlds a bit bonkers when people ask question like this!

Do they do it in your size? Can you afford them?

Surely that's the only questions you need to ask yourself about a flaming shoe?!! She doesn't come anywhere near it

sparklefarts · 24/01/2020 07:03

*age not she

LocalsOnly · 24/01/2020 07:05

I like the Vans, the Sainsburys ones are too old fashioned.

Womenwotlunch · 24/01/2020 07:06

I am older than you and I would wear them.
Btw- you are young at 33.
My mother is 72 and regards herself as young

andanothernewname · 24/01/2020 07:08

You will look like many mums at our school gates! And as others have said, you can get much versions of similar shoes - sorry but these ones look a bit frumpy/cheap to me! But can you wear them at 33? I’m bemused you even ask!

andanothernewname · 24/01/2020 07:09

(My 70 year old mum has leopard print suede boots.)

AJPTaylor · 24/01/2020 07:16

You might be too young to wear them.

SavageBeauty73 · 24/01/2020 08:01

I prefer the Superga ones (just ordered).

Disfordarkchocolate · 24/01/2020 08:03

Nobody is 'too old' for anything at 33. With the possible exception of worrying what other people think of their clothes. I'm not an animal print person but they are nice, enjoy.

Fairylea · 24/01/2020 08:03

I think they’re a bit old for you ...! But I generally don’t think age matters at all, it’s how you wear things. At 33 I’d go for a Vans slip on leopard print pair if you like that sort of print - much more “in”. Lots on Schuh and Asos.

Nuttyaboutnutella · 24/01/2020 08:07

Ooh I'm also 33 and would wear. I actually really like them so might treat myself Grin

LazyDaisey · 24/01/2020 08:08

Well yes, people of all ages wear them but.

Can I get away with these at 33?
TableNiner · 24/01/2020 09:26

Definitely not too young. I’d say it’s more about your personal style generally as to whether you can ‘get away with something’. Like does the item fit in easily with other pieces of your wardrobe

Inappropriatefemale · 24/01/2020 09:30

Not too old at all, I love leopard print anything and I would wear them with skinnies or leggings, or those cigarette trousers that were, or are still, very much ‘in’, I’m 38 and would wear these.

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 24/01/2020 09:33

Go for it!
Personally I wouldn't, but that's because I hate animal print.

Bluntness100 · 24/01/2020 09:34

You are a bit young for them but if you like them that's what matters.

MrsDoubtTried · 24/01/2020 10:29

Cool!

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/01/2020 10:32

Not too old... I don’t love them though. I’m 31 and have these from zara which aren’t hugely dissimilar

bobstersmum · 24/01/2020 10:39

33!! Still very young then op!

Chemenger · 24/01/2020 10:41

I'd wear them, so yes, I agree with PP's that you may be a little young for them.
