To cut or not to cut

My hair is long (just above my bum) and has been like this for years. I'm fancying a change but can't decide wether to chop it off or not 🤔 I have a 4 year old and 7 week old and don't know how ray ot would be to maintain a shorter do (tend to just chuck my hair up in a pony or bun). I like this style, what does everyone think? Should I do it? How easy is short hair? Will I still be able to pop it up?

I love it. You will still be able to chuck it up but it will be much more manageable if yoi want it down! Much easier to curl aswell if you wanted to! Go for it, worst case it will grow back Smile

Definitely go for the chop - that style is lovely and perfect 'mum' length. Mine is similar and can look nice with just a brush through if needed (down as well as up) and can be styled through when time allows.

Thankyou ladies !! Think I'll go for it and like you said @addictedtotheflats, it will grow back !!

Hair that length would be easier to manage than your current length.

The only thing I would say is you might want to go a bit longer than the hairdresser initially suggests - I find that long bobs differ in length depending on the stylist’s perception, so your hair dresser might go a bit shorter than you might want as they ensure you have a super blunt cut etc. So you could take that photo in and end up with your hair being shorter, so just be as clear as you can about what you want.

Also bare in mind that the model has waved hair, so her hair will look longer when straight. Therefore if your hair is cut to be the model’s length when straight, when you put a wave in it it will look shorter

Thats not short hair. Its just shorter than you're used to. Go for it. That length will dry quicker and is easier to tie up.

Yeah I'll definitely ask for it a bit longer Thankyou!! Now to find a decent hairdressers 😳
