I've got to give a presentation, it's in a smart-casual environment but I'd like to lean more towards smart. Budget £50 for dress/clothes and £50 for shoes. The shoes need to be black as I will wear black tights.

Any ideas for outfits? Am soooooo nervous and want to feel good about myself. I'm a size 10, pear shape.

I would head to next, why the need for tights? How about trousers and a smart blouse?

Grey or Navy Trousers and a blouse would be my choice.

Sorry should have said I am much more comfortable in a dress or skirt. Trousers dont really suit my shape - I can pull off skinny jeans but only if I wear chunky boots to balance me out.

Dress - I'd go for a smartish tunic style or a sweater dress, opaque tight and flat shoes. A long sleeved midi dresses might be suitable, or a smartish pinafore.
I rarely wear trousers.

What colours do you suit? Happy showing arms? Will you wear a jacket?

Hobbs have a really good sale at the minute. I bought some good work dresses from there. You can add a blazer if you want or leave off.

Would rather a dress with sleeves. or I have plenty of plain tight tops I could wear tucked into a nice skirt. No cleavage! No jacket. I'm very short so anything midi looks mad on me. Maybe some smart-ish black ankle boots would work?
