Sea salt coats

I'd like a longer-than-to-my-bum waterproof coat and often read on here that sea salt are good.
Are they true to size? I've got my eye on a kellifray one in red which is not my colour usually but this one is saying "buy me." It's lovely and bright and would cheer up the school run considerably.

What are your recommendations?

I got the Polperro 3 season coat on Boxing Day. The only downside is it’s slightly dull colour (I went for the grey) but otherwise I am very pleased with it, toasty warm and good in the rain so far. I find them slightly generous in size - got an 8 in the Polperro as I have a 10 in the longer length Seafolly which is a little large, but that was bought when very pregnant and now has enough room to fit a jumper or a small baby in a carrier underneath!

They are generous, so in general I would say to size down. But they are also quite good with supplying actual measurements for each style online, not just a generic size guide, so you can see how the different styles vary across the brand. Some of them are ridiculously huge, others less so.

I don't think they do this particular style anymore (it's on eBay) but seems perfect for my needs. I don't want anything too warm as I work up a sweat on the hilly school run.

I'm just debating the colour.

I find them true to size - maybe slightly generous but both my winter Seasalt coats feel the perfect size with a jumper or cardi under. They also last and last, I've had one for about 7 years now and it's still as good as new! (It's worn on rotation with my other coats to be fair but has been washed several times etc.)

I think they're a little generous, but I like to put a fleece or a jumper under (Cumbrian weather).
