How to find someone's style to follow

Over the last few years I've really lost my way style wise. I've put on a lot of weight and avoided buying new clothes in the hope that I would lose it, however years have passed now and I'm no slimmer, and now desperately need new clothes!

I've been reading the advice on this board, and I'd like to find a celebrity or someone on Instagram to look to for inspiration but I don't know who. I've seen people who's style I like but there're all very slim and I know I won't be able to pull off the same outfits.

I'm 43, 5'8 and a size 16, and under the weight I would have an hour glass type figure. I have wide hips and shoulders, big bust and used to have a slim waist, but that's now my largest part, my tummy is really big and I also have an overhang from section.

I like accessories, so would even be good to have a basic style and accentuate but everything I wear just emphasises my tummy or over all largeness

Any advise on celebrity or blogger I could look into would be great

style me curvy is good, also you could do a search on Instagram of midsize and it should bring up loads of people who class themselves as not obese but not skinny either. I used that to find people and I'm the same size as you

Styled by susie has completely changed the way I wore my clothes and given me so much more confidence with clothes and makeup.

She styles people to their own personalities like edgy or boho chic etc

I'll look into those, thank you for your advise
