Eyelash serum... any recommendations?

Hi there... looking for recommendations for an eyelash serum that won't completely break the bank (unless you have tried them all and can ONLY recommend the £££ variety!)...

I have tried Peptalash by Indeed some time ago and thought it was pretty good, but think it is more or less out of production. There is still some available on Amazon, but am not sure how old the stock is.

Any other recommendations please? My lashes have never been particularly lustrous, but as I get older, they seem to be disappearing...!

Latisse works but it isn’t available in UK and I think you need a prescription for it in USA.

Nanolash works. It's quite expensive for a tube, but it'll last for about 3 months so doesn't work out too bad.

I read that Marilyn Monroe used Vaseline to make her eyelashes grow.

Doyoumind · 10/01/2020 12:23

Castor oil.

NeverMindtheBotox · 10/01/2020 12:25

@palomapear I tried that but it didn't work for me.

Revitalash! tiny bottle but lasts ages and really works.

Swiftier · 10/01/2020 12:45

How much do you want to spend? I get mine on prescription, it’s £40 for one bottle which lasts two months now (initially you apply every day so one bottle per month, then you can drop down to every other day).

L'Orael do an excellent cheap one as does Maybelline.

orangina · 10/01/2020 21:27

Thank you all... lots of food for thought, I might try the nanolash or the maybelline....

I'm using the No7 one, too early to report on effectiveness.

Dermatica subscription here also like Swiftier. It is exactly the same product as Latisse. Within 6-8 weeks the results are astounding.

I’ve always used Mavala

It’s cheap and works so well I have to stop using it at times as my lashes start to brush my glasses!! Also works on eyebrows. It’s FAB

Thank you all. I was in Boots today and looking at the Maybelline serum which was about £14+.... but there was an offer of any 2 Maybelline make up products for £12, so I bought 2. Am also looking for an eyebrow product, so might try it on my brows too. Otherwise, thank you for the Dermatica and Mavala recommendations, all really helpful!

Someone in Superdrug recommended castor oil and ice also heard about Vaseline but without success.

Do the products recommended make current lashes thick and lush or make extra ones grow?

workffs · 11/01/2020 15:31

Rapid lash works

adagio · 11/01/2020 15:34

Mavala. Bought it from John Lewis after a recommendation on here years and years ago and it’s great, really noticeable difference

RapidRainbow · 11/01/2020 20:06

Rapid lash has definitely worked for me but next time I will buy Revitalash to hopefully get a more dramatic effect.

MistressWeatherwax1 · 13/01/2020 17:05

No 7 Lash Impact serum worked great for me and even fixed the odd split I had in the middle of my lashes on one eye.
