Cuticle oil or cream recommendations for dry skin around nails please

I have been attacking my nails and skin around them for decades. I have now stopped as per my new year resolution and as the skin recovers it is quite dry and flaky. I have been putting lots of hand cream on but I want something I can rub in to help heal and soften the skin and help it recover now I have managed to stop this awful habit. I have had a look on amazon but have been bamboozled by the amount of creams so I would be really grateful for any recommendations.

I use the coconut oil I buy for cooking! I scoop a bit into a small tub to keep by the bed and rub it in at bedtime, it works brilliantly. But does make my nails grow faster!

CND solar oil or dadi oil are the 2 best ones in the nail industry, but if I'm in a pinch I find that plain old almond oil also works well.

I use sweet almond oil, my nails are strong, flexible and grow quickly.

Seconding the CND Solar Oil, it's magic stuff.

Vaseline. Seriously. Also great for flakey nails.

Sally’s Hair & Brauty does a great cuticle oil that works if used correctly.

Almond oil works best for me

Lush Lemony Flutter. AMAZING stuff.

The best thing l found was Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream. l stopped using it as it isn't cruelty free, but that was amazing. l tried the Aldi dupe, but it's not a patch on the original.

I'd also recommend having a manicure every couple of weeks to get your nails off to a good start.

I can recommend Essie apricot oil. It has transformed my cuticles which get destroyed by DIY. It smells lovely which encourages me to use it. Also working well on my toenails.
