Stylish changing bag

Hello

I’m struggling to find a changing bag with the right balance between looking stylish and being practical, the bag I currently use is just a cheapie from Ikea which whilst practical makes me feel so frumpy. Alot of the changing bags are huge which look silly on me as I’m fairly small, and also don’t want anything too heavy.
After looking around I think a backpack would be most practical, maybe the Storksak Poppy which converts from a shoulder bag to a backpack (would have to buy on Ebay though due to budget). Or do I just buy a backpack from somewhere like Accessorize without all the specific baby bits/pockets?!
Just looking for some recommendations really please, I have a habit of buying the wrong thing and wasting money which I can’t afford to do whilst on maternity money. Thanks.

I’d highly recommend Tiba & Marl bags - sounds like one would be perfect for what you need as they’re stylish and practical. I have the black quilted Elwood backpack, I’ve had it for about 3 years I think? My children are almost 5 and 8 now but I still use my backpack for days out, so value for money has been great! I’ve had loads of different changing bags over the years but this one is my favourite in terms of style and quality, so well worth the money I spent on it. You can often find a discount code or free gift with purchase if you’re not in a rush, or you may be able to find one on eBay.

Forget about the changing bag, just get a normal bag!

Tiba & Marl are lovely and I considered getting one when I had my second baby but just couldn't justify it!

I ended up doing what @smallandfaraway suggests and just got a really nice backpack for myself. Think I need up getting one from Next!

For day to day I just use a large normal leather handbag that has a good few inner compartments. We also have a changing backpack that we got from Amazon for £30 for dh to use and for longer day trips. Loads of good affordable ones on Amazon Grin

How old is your child? Once you don't need six changes of clothes and a million Muslims you have more options. If i just need a couple of nappies and a packet of wipes I use a Longchamp backpack. If I need a few toys and snacks too I use one of my normal handbags. Changing bags are useful but time limited really.

Clearly that was muslins and not Muslims... FML

Grin at the million Muslims

OP, I had a Storksak Elizabeth. It was bloody lovely. I bought mine new and used it for four years. It's still in great condition now. They can be picked up on eBay for a fraction of the original cost.
