Dirty neck

My 16 y/o son has had this issue as long as I can remember, where basically every few months his neck looks dirty and he has to rub the dead skin away. He showers most days fully including washing his hair so it's not a cleanliness issue. Does anyone know what will help keep this at bay? I'm inclined to think an in-shower exfoliator wash but I don't want to encourage harsh treatment of the skin

Proper scrub with a flannel in the shower. It's called 'boy standing in the shower expecting the dirt to jump off him' Wink

I don't think it's that but worth speaking with a doctor. It doesn't build up as thick as the pictures show or have any texture.

I get this! A rub with a flannel or those Korean exfoliating cloths is the answer.

Or use an exfoliating sponge.

I love your description MrsPelligrinoPetrichor Grin
