Neglected 52 year old skin - what products please?

Looking for some advice please. I'm 52 and have always been a lazy git minimalist skin regime person. Only use water on my skin, rarely use make-up and moisturise when it feels necessary.

I need to change this and attempt to claw back some of the damage this neglect has done.

Please could you tell me your skin care regime? What products are the best for skin my age? What would you recommend I do to get a skin care regime going, please?

I'd keep it simple, or you won't stick with it!

A decent SPF (at least 30), nothing greasy. I'd use it instead of a moisturiser.

At night, rosehip and also vitamin c. Both great for your skin.

Nothing exfoliating, nothing harsh, nothing heavy.

Try Ponds Cold Cream - nice thick layer either overnight, or just at home when you can leave it undisturbed for a long time.

It looks like quite a heavy cream, but it doesn't behave like one IYSWIM

The Body Shop have lovely ranges for all different skin types/ages. Drops of Youth range is my personal favourite and has great reviews. Also pretty affordable too.

I am 52. I use : retin A at night, spf 50 all year round, double cleanse every evening, single cleanse in the morning, use oils on my face to moisture and have very few lines.
The most important is a good sunscreen to be worn even in the depths of winter as UVA is the same all year round!

Thanks all. Any specific products that you would recommend?
