GHD Air or Dyson dryer - yes nearly done to death

DH at loss for gift suggested fancier hairdryer - I suggested GHD air - already have GHD curve etc , he was surprised and said as I use it everyday why not have the Dyson - has great reviews etc,

Thing is I have fine hair and assume that the Dyson would be too powerful - anyone out there with similar hair care to share their experience /thoughts pls .

Dyson is expensive but ghd in my experience is no better than a babylis dryer

I have the Dyson and I love it, gets my hair dry much quicker but I have really thick unruly hair.

The. Dyson. Is. Amazing.

Seriously though, I love it. And whenever I use any other hairdryer they feel rubbish.
Worth every penny

Oh and regarding power, the lowest power setting is really low, I use it on my 1 year old after a bath, it’s that low.

I have thick frizzy hair, the Dyson is OK. The only benefit it's lighter than my old Parlux. It's not worth the high price.

I have fine hair!

I own a GHD air but my salon uses a dyson. I genuinely see no difference between a dyson salon blowdry vs a standard salon blowdry. It’s not bouncier, smoother or shinier. I wouldn’t buy one for my hair type, but the Airwrap is interesting.

GHD air is a good product for the affordable price. I have repurchased it 3 times in 5 years though due to faults after warranty. I still like it so I made sure to purchase from John Lewis this time around! I think the weight is bearable, it’s unnoticeable unless I’m super tired.

Love my Dyson.

I'd weep if it broke and then buy another one.

It's so easy to use, light but powerful, but you can vary the speed/temperature to find the right combination for you.

I had a Parlux before I bought it and it blows it out of the water (as it should do for the price).
