skin care routing - glowy skin?

I'd be interested in your skin care routines/how I can get nice smooth glowy skin??

My skin isn't bad - I look quite young for my age but I do have large pores on my nose, get a few spots etc and things aren't quite as "smooth" as I would like if that makes sense - interested to hear your routines

Pixi glow tonic is an amazing toner for glowy smooth skin!

Second Pixi Glow Tonic. The Aldi dupe is also excellent and a fraction of the cost.

Try Japanese / Korean skincare routines and products. They’re all about what they call ‘glass skin’. Etude House and Innisfree, both Korean, have great products that are also available in the UK (I think).

OP as someone who has had very indifferent skin for many years I am totally convinced that good skin comes from within - a good skincare regime may help but it's not the biggest factor. That might be good news or bad news depending on how you look at it - in other words, you don't need to spend money on lots of expensive products!

From my experience over the past few years, a good diet and plenty of exercise that gets the heart pumping has an amazing effect on your skin. I think it must be the improved blood flow that does it but my skin since I took up running 18 months has changed an incredible amount.

water water water. For large pores i use benefit pore minimiser, i dont think you can fix them.

Thanks for all the replies. I am trying to drink more water and I have a tea which is apparently specifically blended for good skin! I eat generally well in terms of main meals - a lot of fish, veg etc but I have the biggest sweet tooth known to man and I don't think all the sugar helps eek!

Definitely more water. And exercise. And good fats.

I didn’t think Pixie Glow Tonic was all that great, but I use Paula’s Choice AHAs and BHAs, which are stronger, so maybe that’s why.

Niacinamide, vitamin c and retinol will help

Seriously sugar buggers up your skin.

My mums skin looks ancient for her age, bless her, she's been mainlining sugar her whole life. Sugar basically destroys collagen.
