jeans in many forms !!!! today knee length turn-ups also wear cropped and full length and more denim various skirts with smock shape tshirts , wrap/kimono style tops fat face tshirts since may i've rarely been out of my MOCK CROCS and even have croc spots where i've tanned thru

no make up

very boring un-dyed long straight hair nearly always tied back

BUT i always wear jewellery!!!!!

fairysnuff · 24/08/2007 00:20

I am always in my long skirts for the mo. LO is only 11 months so not running around yet.

I just hate putting on socks! So a skirt with wee pumps works for me.
But I think I may have to change soon, when DD finds her feet a skirt is going to be entirely impractical!

But jeans cut into you so! Or I end up constantly pulling them back over my bottom (paranoia!)!
So I reckon I am going to have to go for the combat style trouser uniform!

No make up though, who can be bothered!
Got my hair permed recently so I have No idea when I last brushed it!
Sometimes I can go for days without really looking at myself in a mirror! Never Perm you hair!! Ever!!

I got to the point were I couldn't wear heels any more and my feet had got sore, so I threw my trainers away and made sure I always were shoes now. It made such a difference to my feet, (oh and I got a pedi too) apart from that I am fat so i don't wear jeans, I either wear trousers and a t-shirt or I have loads of them Aline skirts with little t-shirts. I miss jeans more than anything.

eidsvold · 24/08/2007 04:28

jeans for winter with pull on shirts - trainers or slip ons

summer - capri or shorts with t-shirts of some description - dressy flip flops or sandals.

depends on what is planned for the day as to what shirt I wear - but have 3- just 5 and under, one of whom has sn - I need to be able to run after her at times so sensible comfortable clothing - as well as climbing in and out of car putting three into their car seats etc.

If I am going out somewhere and not just doing the school run - may get dressier top ( but need bf access) and shoes.

Rarely do I put makeup on - hair always brushed.

Wuxiapian · 24/08/2007 09:36

I have a vast array of comfy bottoms (those velour type ones) and t-shirts/sweater type tops for home. And slippers.

Have about 20 mins peace each morning for shower, hair washing, shave and application of a little blush and mascara - makes me feel more humanlike.

Jazzicatz · 24/08/2007 09:47

This is a really thread - what has happened to us eh? I looked at myself yesterday, I had a large sports tops on, tracksuit bottoms and trainers. My top had food on and I had my hair scraped back and clipped back which highlighted my grey roots. No makeup, and I looked a complete mess, would never have been seen dead like that before ds's. So I came home, did my exercise dvd, had a shower, washed my hair, put on some sexy, matching undies and a change of clothes, and I actually felt sooo much better. Good luck to you Dunnyjo. x

MrsTittleMouse · 24/08/2007 09:52

Whatever is clean and still fits! I only have 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of cropped jeans, and these are rotated and worn to death.
I'd love to have the time and money to go out and get some nice clothes again. In fact I started a thread about it a while back, but there's not much point when I'm not earning and I'm hoping to shrink back down a little more, or even get pregnant again...

Cadders · 24/08/2007 09:58

currently my nightie but that's just becasue it's the holidays and I'm about to clean the bathroom.
Usually, I wear jeans, cropped trousers, tops, t-shirts. Nothing very glamourous. I only put make up on if I'm going somewhere and need to feel more confident.

JARM · 24/08/2007 10:01

aww woke up this morning thought id get dressed and sorted before i went downstairs. Not bad going, jeans as usual and lil bit of make up and bit of jewls. Took another look after breakfast, geesh the bags under my eyes!
Damn the foundation did not banish them

OP posts:
Skribble · 24/08/2007 13:34

Jeans, fitted t-shirt or casual shirt, and big hoodie. Light fundation to cover dodgy bits on face if going out in public, bit of mascara and lipsalve if meeting other mums

MuffinMclay · 24/08/2007 13:57

Jeans and t-shirts, day in day out. Scruffy jeans for dog walking and gardening, slightly less scruffy ones for out and about.
Occasionally a shirt over a vest top for a change.

Now (16 weeks pg) the only things that fit are one pair of jeans, one pair of cropped trousers, and one (very summery - i.e. too cold to wear it) Boden skirt. Worn with t-shirts that don't quite cover the bump and feel uncomfortable.

I'd love to be smarter, but can't seem to do it.
