anti-frizz serum/spray for dried hair?

Anyone got any recommendations for something to put on already dried hair to get rid of frizz?

I have very thick, curly hair, length between my chin and shoulders (am trying to grow it longer). I can start in the morning with it fairly tame - either dried naturally in curls, or blow dried pretty straight, with a Dyson, so it looks sort-of shiny if I do that. I use an anti-frizz serum on wet hair first, which normally seems to help.

But if it's at all wet or humid or foggy or windy or just about anything else, my hair will absorb all the moisture and be a wiry, frizzy, bushy triangle by the time I've walked somewhere and no amount of combing or anything else will make it lie smooth again.

I can't dampen it at that point, and almost all the serums etc say to use on damp hair. Is there anything I can use on dry hair that will help tame it again once I'm out and about? Something I can carry in my handbag along with my comb?

Percy and Reed Wonder Balm is good and contains no Silicons, so good for curly hair.

thanks, I'll look that one up. good for dried hair? (not dry in the condition ,I mean, but just already dried for the day! - when I google stuff, it's hard to differentiate between those things)

I have used several differebt ones but my latest and favourite is Pantene, serum it makes hair look very glossy, and my hair is like straw when first washed

A very very small amount of The Hangover Elixir

Products don't get rid of frizz if it's caused by moisture. Your hair is frizzing up because it's got damp and re-dried without heat being applied again.

Personally, I would get some decent straighteners and use them on your hair. Blow drying isn't enough in my opinion. If I straighten mine, it generally stays that way unless I go out in the rain.

Frizz Ease Secret Agent Creme is for dried hair, I use it every day and sound like I have very similar hair to you.
Although this weather I think I pretty much just give up with my hair, it's a lost cause....

I use Aussie Miracle Moist leave in conditioning spray. If it works on my big, dry, frizzy Indian afro it will definitely work for you. The trick is to use a lot, comb it in, and then seal in with a serum (I use the Ogyx coconut one).

Forget expensive products. Just buy a jar of coconut oil! Can use on wet or dry hair and works and lasts!

pure argan oil but also look up the curly girl method

thanks, will add some of these to my shopping list.

I tried Curly Girl but had no success with it.

Maybe it just is this weather! It doesn't actually feel damp ever, but it's absorbed all the moisture from the air I guess. Frustrating! Even indoors it seems to do it.
