I've been using the Origins Never a dull moment one which I love but I've run out and it's a bit pricey.

I'm in my 50's, normal skin but have a few red veins so don't want anything too harsh.

Any suggestions that won't break the bank please?

I got a Tarte one for DD (she has quite sensitive skin)

Tarte Frxxxtion Stick Exfoliating Cleanser from QVC.

She loves it !

Instead of ‘scrubs’ which may cause micro tears in your skin, try a chemical exfoliant. The Ordinary do a 7% glycolic acid quite cheap but obviously there are better out there if you want to pay more. Chemical exfoliants are kinder to skin and much more effective

Exactly what @cloud1183 said. Ditch the physical scrubs and use chemical exfoliants.

Paula’s Choice 2% Bha gel exfoliant is really good, and not so harsh it will leave you skin peeling and red.

No physical scrubs. The Superdrug 5% glycolic is excellent and ludicrously cheap: www.superdrug.com/Naturally-Radiant/Superdrug-Naturally-Radiant-Glycolic-Tonic-5%25-100ml/p/729356.

If you really want a physical exfoliant you could try Dermalogica Microfoliant. I’m not sure how that compares in price to the one you have now though. But yes, exfoliating acids would be better, look into those.

If you use a chemical (like the Glycolic ) do you need sunscreen after ?

I have some Indeed Labs powder exfolliant ( it foams a bit like Bicarbonate of Soda) very mild .

70isalimit- it is recommended you use sunscreen regardless of whether you use chemical sunscreen as it’s the only thing that will truly prevent signs of ageing. However, it’s particularly advised if you ise exfoliants and retinols. Many sunscreens are really light now and not horrible and sticky

Between Oct-Mar I use a moisturiser with spf30 and a foundation but outside of those months then always a sunscreen
