I'm only early 30's but they are pretty obvious, and my make up sometimes will sit in them!
Help!

Anything other than Botox for crows feet ?

Not what you want to hear OP - but there really isn't anything other than Botox and SPF but even SPF won't prevent them because they are dynamic lines - caused by repeated muscle movements. Botox will both treat them and prevent them worsening. In the long run it's cheaper than all the lotions and potions.

To me your lines are very minor but I do understand what you mean because I dislike my crow's feet. I get Botox and it works a treat.

ReturnofSaturn · 25/11/2019 09:59

They are not very obvious at all OP!! Honestly, in fact you're doing rather well!

DianaT1969 · 25/11/2019 13:11

Nip+Fab from Superdrug hyaluronic serum. Not right next to the eye of course. It's a hydrating, plumping serum. Usually on offer. It noticeably plumps up my skin and I'm 20 years older than you.

DianaT1969 · 25/11/2019 13:12

But just to add that they really aren't noticeable. So prevention with spf is the way to go.

@DianaT1969 Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out :)

@championquartz Looks like it may be time to look into the ol' Botox then!
Or just never smile again?!

You can get retinol eye creams which are good.

I’ve had laser treatment which goes up to that area and it’s helped.
Very sparse botox is good but avoid too much as you can end up sneery (I speak from bitter experience). You can also lose the expression from your eyes too.

Squiffyyy · 25/11/2019 19:28

Plasma Fibroblast is ideal for this type of wrinkling. I work in aesthetics and do this area almost daily 😊

whymewhyme · 25/11/2019 19:33

What will spf do? I know nothing about skin care

Delatron · 25/11/2019 19:33

Ooh what is plasma fibroblast squiffyyy.
I’ve heard of Tixel, is it similar?

The Picosure laser I had went right round the eye area.

LilaGrace · 25/11/2019 19:53

As champion said, Botox will prevent them from getting worse as well as reducing the appearance of them. I had Botox recently and can not believe the difference it's made. You won't regret it.

morriseysquif · 25/11/2019 19:55

You could try Argireline from the Ordinary, it has worked wonders on my frowny 11s!

Elmo311 · 25/11/2019 20:08

@Squiffyyy that sounds interesting! Is it more or less pricey than Botox?

@whymewhyme SPF protects against the suns harmful UVA / UVB rays which can contribute to skin damage and ageing. I wear sun cream daily but as you can see it hasn't helped with my dynamic lines!

@LilaGrace Definitely considering it now! :)
