Knickers!! What are you all wearing?

Hello
I’m chucking out all my knickers and want to start again. Where do I start?? I’m 44 With 3 children and my thong days are long gone. I like cotton but want to move away from anything too plain. Don’t want full lace, have to change at work in front of people 😬 (that’s how I’ve seen that other people have nice knickers, not sexy nice, just nice)
Where do you all buy your knickers from?

Thanks to a previous thread of mine, the biggest, comfiest knickers I can find. And definitely plain, so probably not what you're after.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/11/2019 20:44

The ones I have are similar to bikinis but lower cut at the front, and higher at the legs, often made in material that makes the no VPL too.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/11/2019 20:45

That was in reference to Brazilians.

BeatriceTheBeast · 17/11/2019 20:54

I have just bought a lot of new knickers! They are all boy shorts. I love them on my apple shape.

Sorry about your split from ex Flowers. I bet you're better off.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 17/11/2019 21:00

Mine are definitely plain but so nice- I love them for their simplicity but I'd probably have fancier ones if I cared who saw them Blush

Older and bolder here, I swear by Primark trouser knickers. Or whatever they are called now. So soft, so comfortable and so cheap. What the heck is not to like?

Ahem.... they come off anyway at certain times and who really cares.

Sorry if I have been a bit OTT there!

SlightlyWizened · 17/11/2019 21:08

M&S or Tu big knickers in mostly cotton.

Auberjean · 17/11/2019 22:32

I don't like Brazilian ones as the leg is cut strangely across the middle of the buttocks, so neither one thing nor the other. I gave mine to DD after two wears.

fedup21 · 17/11/2019 22:35

I would hate to do any job where I had to get changed down to my underwear in front of my colleagues!

I wear black No-VPL shorts from sainsbos!

QueenoftheNowhereverse · 17/11/2019 22:59

Asda and Sainsbury’s have lace top cotton underwear which are my day to days. The lace tops take the granny edge off, but I’m not into cheap 16 years old anal floss about to lose my virginity knickers either

rosydreams · 17/11/2019 23:05

sainburys do the comfiest underwear but playtex ones are good for holding up saggy tights.Great firm supportive

CointreauVersial · 18/11/2019 10:39

M&S all the way. In fact, I don't think I have ever worn undies from anywhere else. They are comfy and last for years.

Find a big branch and get stuck in.

rosydreams · 18/11/2019 12:21

i used to buy M&S but sainburys as good as and they have the 25% off all clothes sale every few months

Stumpedasatree · 18/11/2019 12:46

I go for microfibre no VPL midis or shorts either from M&S or JL. They're light, comfortable, and invisible through clothes.

Shmithecat2 · 18/11/2019 12:50

Tesco No VPL - solid at the front, lace over the bottom, no seems. They're amazing and always on 342. Or sometimes Sloggi Zeros. I HATE VPL with a passion.

StarlightLady · 18/11/2019 13:44

Both stretch lace and microfibre fit like a second skin, move with you as opised to against you, are not bulky and keep their shape after each wash.
