Organic skincare for mature skin

I've been using Detmalogica for many years now and happy with it. My skin is great for my age.

I am gradually changing to a more organic lifestyle. Done the food and now turning attention to skin care and cleaning products.

Can anybody recommend good skincare products? Essentially an oil cleanser and a face wash.

I have found independents locally selling organic but they push them so heavily and have huge price tags it leads me to believe they are massive margin and low substance product! I may be wrong though and I usually try to shop locally, just not struck lucky with this range of products.

Any ideas?

Green People do lovely products. They have a range for an older skin too, although it's quite pricey (although if you're changing from dermalogica you might find it's a bit cheaper than you're used to). Their customer service is excellent, and they do sample sachets and some travel sizes to try before committing. I don't use their stuff exclusively, but it's a range I've been coming back to since I was recommended the baby range sixteen years ago!

Thanks I will try that range then.

I’m a huge fan of aurelia and tata harper. The prices can be hard to swallow but they do seem really effective.

depends on your skin type.. and also your goals (hydration? wrinkles? hyperpigmentation?)

skin chemistry is unique, so honestly it's hard to recommend one brand across the board. even products within one brand are sometimes inconsistent with skin types. there are loads of beauty brands though, so worth experimenting a bit!
